Care Information for Dogs
(including any information on the Mixed Breed - Large)

Introduction - Part 1 of 7

This care sheet covers the care of dogs, members of the family Canidae. Although dogs have been kept in captivity for many centuries and have the same basic requirements and anatomy, details will tend to vary from breed to breed. You should research the breed of dog you plan to acquire before actually taking this sort of dog home. For example, if you live in a small apartment, you may not want a huge dog. If you feel you need more help in deciding whether or not you want a specific breed, talking to a breeder, veterinarian, or a person who owns the breed may help you in your decision.

Although the care of most dogs is extremely similar, each dog breed may have different requirements or special needs which you must meet in order to keep your dog in perfect health. In order to discover these special care needs, you should consult your dog's specific animal care information on the CentralPets.com website.
